Rob Klein, Cameraman and Director of Photography
Washington, DC
I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. I attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where I studied television production. Right out of college, I started working as a cameraman. I enjoy what I do! It’s what I’ve been doing my entire career, first in-house, and then as a freelance cameraman since 1995. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to make a shoot work best, using the right gear for a particular job, and working with new people to come together as a team. As a freelance cameraman in Washington, DC, I’ve worked on video productions throughout the area. From government buildings, to corporate locations, the monuments, live shots at the White House, and professional sporting arenas, there aren’t many places where I haven’t shot in the greater DC area. Knowing the business, plus knowing the ins and outs of the area, is experience I draw on to make the client’s job easier. The goal – a successful video production.
In my leisure time, I enjoy being with my family (wife and two teenage sons), biking, both road and mountain, travel, and movies.
